JOHN AND NORMA COMMORATO - Founders

John Commorato was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from Long Island University with a degree in Journalism. John joined the Army in 1966 and ended his tour of duty at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis, IN. He then worked for a local television station producing the evening news. From 1973-1975 he served as broadcast producer for an Indianapolis advertising agency, Ruben, Montgomery. In 1978, John was named creative director of Lauer Advertising in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 1981, he and his wife, Norma, founded Commorato Media Communications (CMC Media Group).
